Dru Hill - Yes! / Jagged Edge - Uh.....
An hour of Dru Hill, an hour of the DJ's warm-up, and an hour of Lorna Dallas were part of the deal. The Fountain Room hosted the after party. While waiting for the DJ, a lady next to me questioned why Dru Hill wasn't headlining, as she believed Jagged Edge wasn't as big. I was indifferent but eager to see both acts. Personally, I prefer listening to early Jagged Edge at home, even though I love Dru Hill. The DJ warmed up the crowd for an hour before Dru Hill took the stage on time. Cisco was modest, Nokio was entertaining, and the third brother impressed with his vocals. Lorna Dallas followed suit, coming on time with lots of unnecessary chatting and not enough music. The show abruptly ended after 50 minutes with no encore. The houselights came on, signaling the end of the performance. Attendees were directed to the Fountain Room for the afterparty, which I wasn't interested in. Dru Hill's performance was solid, while Lorna Dallas's fell short of expectations.
